Content Policy

1. Prohibited content and conduct
Do not use Motion for child sexual abuse or exploitation, sexualized depictions of minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, trafficking, threats, targeted harassment, hateful abuse, terrorist recruitment, violent wrongdoing, fraud, malware, unlawful surveillance, or exposing private information without authority.
Do not impersonate real people or clone a voice or likeness without required permission, misrepresent endorsements, distribute harmful deceptive synthetic media, or infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights. Follow applicable synthetic-content, election, advertising, and commercial-communication disclosure rules. Do not evade safety controls, spam, abuse promotions, or access others' data. Context and law matter; a creative tool is not permission for unlawful use.
2. Security, platform abuse, and restricted decision uses
Do not probe or exploit systems without authorization, distribute malicious code, steal tokens, interfere with other users' work, bypass rate or access limits, or extract private training, account, or project data. Do not automate spam, fabricate referrals, cycle accounts to obtain repeated promotions, or use stolen payment details.
Do not present Motion as an identity-verification service, use it to build a biometric surveillance system, or rely on generated content as the sole basis for a decision about a person's employment, credit, housing, insurance, health, or other significant rights without the safeguards required by law. Motion does not provide regulated professional advice merely because an output resembles it.
Report a suspected vulnerability to [email protected] with the information needed to reproduce it safely. Do not access unrelated customer data, disrupt service, demand payment in exchange for withholding harm, or publish credentials or personal information. This reporting route does not restrict lawful protected reporting or research rights.
3. Synthetic-media disclosure, asset licenses, and rights
Where law or the destination platform requires it, disclose that content is synthetic or materially altered, including relevant advertising, impersonation, and election contexts. Do not remove provenance information, watermarks, or ownership notices to deceive others or defeat a required disclosure. Permission to use an editing feature is not permission to falsely imply a real person's endorsement.
Stock footage, music, fonts, templates, and third-party model outputs can carry separate license conditions. Obtain necessary rights for the intended audience, territory, distribution, and commercial use. Supplying a license or release helps establish authority but does not require Motion or a provider to process content that independently violates safety rules or law.
If content is determined to violate another person's rights or an applicable restriction, stop further prohibited distribution within your control and cooperate with reasonable corrective steps. We do not require you to surrender a lawful challenge or comply with an unsupported claim merely because someone alleges infringement.
4. Moderation, reports, and review
We may use automated safeguards and human review to investigate violations and moderate public features. Community videos remain private from the feed until approved. Viewers can report content and block creators. We may remove content or restrict access proportionately, with notice and review where appropriate or required.
Report violations, infringement, or a disputed moderation decision to [email protected]. Identify the content or location, the issue, your contact information, and any authority to act for a rights holder. For copyright claims, include the protected work, allegedly infringing material, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, a statement of accuracy and authority under penalty of perjury, and a physical or electronic signature. We may seek further information and provide a response or appeal path as required by law. Do not submit knowingly false reports.
Review may include the reported content, related instructions, and necessary account or technical records. We may restrict content while investigating an urgent risk, preserve evidence where lawful, and comply with valid legal process. Moderation is not a promise to inspect every upload or a guarantee that approved content is lawful. Serious or repeated violations can result in suspension or termination under the Terms.
5. Urgent image-abuse reports, copyright complaints, and appeals
If you or someone you represent is depicted in non-consensual intimate material, or a child may be at risk, contact [email protected] and identify the content or location and the nature of the concern. State whether you are the affected person or an authorized representative. Do not redistribute illegal images or send extra intimate material to prove the claim. We assess requests under applicable removal deadlines and evidence requirements.
For a copyright report, identify the work, the allegedly infringing location, your contact information and authority, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law, and a statement of accuracy and authority under penalty of perjury, with a physical or electronic signature. Provide enough detail for us to locate the material. Knowingly false reports can carry legal consequences.
If you believe a removal or account restriction was mistaken, reply to the notice or contact [email protected] with the relevant reference and reasons for review. Where a statutory counter-notice or appeal procedure applies, we provide the applicable route and required information. We may share necessary complaint information with the affected party subject to law and safety considerations.
